How soon can I get the money?

Design Loans will see to it that you get your money within 24 hours after your application.

What if I have a bad credit history, can I get a loan?

Yes you can. Each applicant is treated as per his/her own merit. If you fit our criteria we will lend it to you.

Do you lend to tenants?

Yes. Your residential status does not affect your loan application

What if I’m self employed, can I get a loan?

Yes. All we need is proof of income through accounts, tax returns or recent bank returns.

Do I need a bank account?

No. we just need proof of your income and you can receive the money in cash. You can pay it back through any of our branches and if you have a bank account, we also accept bankers draft.

Do I keep the car during the duration of the loan?

Yes. The only thing we hold on to is the logbook.

How old does my vehicle need to be to get a loan?

Normally the car needs to be less than 10 years old. We can however lend in case of older cars as well as motor vehicles, vans and lorries.

How do I make repayments?

Most customers prefer paying via debit card. We also accept standing order and banker’s draft.

Can I make an early loan payment.

Yes just contact us directly through our office line and you will be assisted.

What if I can’t make loan repayments?

Contact us as soon as you can. We will do what we can to offer assistance as we understand that anyone can go through bad patches in life. Our representatives will be ready to discuss available options to ease repayments. However it is imperative to keep our warning in mind: YOUR VEHICLE CAN BE REPOSSESSED IF YOU FAIL ON YOUR REPAYMENTS ON YOUR LOGBOOK LOAN.

What if you sell my vehicle?

Selling your car is the last resort. However if we decide to do so we will try and get the best possible price for your car and any amount made over your outstanding loan balance will be refunded to you.

What can I do if I have a Complaint?

If you have a complaint regarding any of our services, you can quickly contact customer services and one of our representatives will be happy to help resolve any issues you may have.

What is a bill of sale?

This is a document handles temporary ownership of the vehicle to the lender during the duration of the loan.

What is FCA?

This refers to the Financial Conduct Authority and is the regulatory body for financial institutions in the United Kingdom. Its main function is to protect consumers and to ensure fair competition among financial institutions.

What is CCTA?

Consumer Credit Trade Association. It audits lender institutions and businesses that register with it and ensures they comply with their Code of Practice. This Code of Practice stipulates fair treatment of customers by lenders.
